Prior to the Annual Meeting, the Coordinators, along with Facilitators,
will meet from Wednesday evening, September 27 until Friday noon, September

encouraged to attend. The Faculty will meet on Friday from 1:00-3:00 PM.
Again this year, we will offer a Day of Enrichment on Saturday, September
30. This is an open invitation and we have space to hold 800 for the day.
The theme for the day is: Contemplative Prayer in the 21st Century.
Speakers are: Father Thomas Keating, Father Basil Pennington and Gail
Fitzpatrick-Hopler, Executive Director.
Saturday evening will include a Banquet, followed by a concert of
contemplative music. We will conclude our meeting 10:30 Sunday morning
with Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina and a special homily and blessing by
Fr. Thomas Keating.
The Annual Meeting Committee consists of Marie Howard, Chair, Hal
Edwards, Susan Komis, Ruth Dundon, John Congdon and Gail Fitzpatrick-Hopler.
As in previous years, there will be time for Centering Prayer, networking,
renewing relationships and forming new ones, enrichment and support for the
work we do "at home." Coming together provides us with the opportunity to
be kept informed of all of the resources available, of current and new
programs and plans for the future growth of Contemplative Outreach
throughout the world. Mark your calendar and plan to attend.
This is the first time we are combining the Coordinator and Faculty
Meetings with the Annual Meeting. We hope to see you in Chicago, as we
celebrate with the larger community of Contemplative Outreach,
Contemplative Prayer in the 21st Century.
We hope to see you in Chicago in September,
Marie Howard
