Christophany Retreat

Fr. Thomas Keating and Rev. Cynthia Bourgeault will team up to explore a challenging but crucially important book: Christophany by the contemporary Christian mystic and scholar Raimon Panikkar. The retreat will feature a balanced rhythm of Centering Prayer, individual silence, teaching, discussion and personal reflection. The intellectual work will be challenging but not academic, and the grounding in Centering Prayer will allow us all toopen what Panikkar calls "the third eye" -- i.e., to understand with our hearts what we cannot grasp with the mind alone -- a crucial dimension in the living out of this paradigm.
