Centering Prayer is a method of prayer,
traditionally called Contemplative Prayer,
that prepares us to receive the gift of God's presence.
It consists of responding to the Spirit of Christ by consenting to God's
presence and action within.

Saturday Centering Prayer Morning
A once monthly meeting for a morning of Centering Prayer, drawing from all groups and interested individuals.

BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9:30 AND 11:30 THERE WILL BE SILENCE
Those needing instruction leave for separate room. Those receiving instruction will, of course, not be silent, but will have the chance to ask questions, and will have a Centering Prayer session. They will join the main group at 10:40.People may come for part of the morning, it helps if they will time arrival and departure times to coincide with break times: 10:00-10:10 and 10:40-11:00. While we are centering, we request as silent an entry as possible.
