St. Pauls' Catholic Church
“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
Centering Prayer: An Introductory Program
Presented by Therese Saulnier and Teresa Ko-Davis
Do you long for a deeper relationship with God?
Do you have a yearning for “something more” in your prayer life?
Do you feel “dry” in your prayer life, although you are faithful in saying your prayers?
If you resonate with one of these questions, you may be called to Centering Prayer.
What is Centering Prayer?
It is a silent prayer renewed from an ancient Christian contemplative practice.
It is a simple method of letting go of our thoughts and saying “yes” to the divine invitation of “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
This simple prayer opens our hearts and minds to the Indwelling Trinity who forever promises “I am with you always.” (Matthew 28:20)
It leads us to a deeper prayer life, communion with God, healing, and spiritual transformation.
This workshop is for those who are new to Centering Prayer and for those who wish to renew their Centering Prayer practice.
