Contemplative Outreach 2008 Annual Conference

The theme for our Conference is; Unity: Oneness in Contemplation,
and our weekend will feature presentations by Fr. Thomas Keating, OCSO, and
Fr. Laurence Freeman, OSB, Director for the World Community of Christian
Meditation. Our weekend focus will be on Contemplative Community. Online registration will close September 19, 2008. Again this year we are offering two option plans: Option 1; the full conference, from Wednesday afternoon to Sunday noon.

Option 2; the weekend, begins Friday afternoon and concludes Sunday noon.
Workshops will be offered Friday afternoon, followed by dinner with a special concert by, Essence of Joy, a group from Penn State U and opening remarks by Frs. Thomas and Laurence.
Saturday will feature presentations by Frs. Thomas and Laurence and of course Centering Prayer. Breakfast and a box lunch will be provided. Saturday evening is a free evening with dinner on your own. Information and transportation for a small fee, to various nearby restaurants will be available.
The conference will conclude at Sunday noon, following the closing Ecumenical Service.

Refund Policy
Before 8/31/2008 – 100% refund minus $30.00 cancellation fee (to cover
processing costs)
Between 8/31/2008 – 9/12/2008 – 50% refund
After 9/12/2008 – No refunds
Hotel Registration:
The Annual conference will be held at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Hotel. Reservations can be made online: Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Reservations
Note: Free Shuttle Service will be available from the Pittsburgh International Airport at Baggage Claim Door #8, every half hour. Free parking will be available on the hotel grounds.
